Option # 1 The Rocky Horror Picture Show

The Rocky Horror Picture Show

My all time favorite movie which I discovered in my early teenage years. This musical comedy horror film was released in 1976. Not only was this film a comedy horror film its also a tribute/parody of early century horror and science fiction films.

The film starts our with a clean cut couple who's car breaks down on a cold and rainy back road. An old scary castle is the only thing near by and they must use the phone in order to call for help. This is the setting and the scene. The characters within the castle consist of an odd array of strange non conforming people. The castles inhabitants are the total opposite of that clean cut couple. The main character Frank F. Furter a mad scientist/ alien transvestite, is the conductor of it all.
This films embodies the convections of this specific genre. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if this film made this genre possible. It has the basic elements of a horror movie strange characters, the old castle the unknowing characters.  The comedic and memorable one-liners and blunt humor and the music.
The original intended audience was geared for young college aged students. However, today it has a huge cult following, form young teenagers to adults, from the in crowd to the outcast. This film attracts people from all backgrounds and ages.

Spot Abuse

Severe Marketing made the Spot Abuse Project with the intent to encourage citizens of Milwaukee to report animal abuse. The likely hood of someone dialing 9-1-1 about animal abuse is much higher than dialing for domestic abuse. The idea is that the more convictions made over animal abuse the more the authorities will discover domestic abuse cases. Research made by the USA Association of Prosecuting Attorneys found out that 76% of animal abusers also commit domestic violence.

This correlation between domestic violence and animal abuse is so obvious that its incredible to think that it hasn't been used before. Its brilliantly uses pathos by appealing to our emotions it invokes anger, sadness and disgust etc. The ethos is established with the use of the USA Association of Prosecuting Attorneys. This association also has the statistical hard evidence of 76% of animal abusers also committing domestic violence, logos.
